Steel panel radiators are a new type of high-efficiency and energy-saving radiator made from high-quality cold-rolled low-carbon steel plates. Therefore, they dissipate heat quickly and have a high convection heat transfer rate, bringing a comfortable feeling of being bathed in sunlight. So, what are the advantages and disadvantages of steel panel radiators?

1. Steel Panel Radiators: Steel panel radiators offer comfortable heating and high energy efficiency. They also boast high thermal conductivity and strong pressure resistance. From a material perspective, steel panel radiators use cold-rolled steel as raw material, resulting in high thermal conductivity and strong pressure resistance. Their heat output per unit mass is 66-88 W/kg, which is five times or even higher than cast iron radiators; their metal thermal intensity (the heat dissipated per kilogram of metal per 1°C increase in temperature) is about three times that of cast iron radiators. Combined with the sophisticated manufacturing process of steel panel radiators, their advantages are even more pronounced.

2. Steel Panel Radiators – Bright and Elegant Appearance: The popularity of steel panel radiators is largely due to their bright, elegant appearance. They are often available in classic European pure white, ideal for complementing white walls and blending seamlessly with colorful interior decorations. Their appearance remains unchanged even after ten years, making them highly decorative and able to blend perfectly with various décor styles.

3. Manufacturing Characteristics of Steel Panel Radiators:

a. Materials: Based on carbon content, they can be divided into high-carbon steel and low-carbon steel. Low-carbon steel has superior mechanical properties and corrosion resistance compared to high-carbon steel, steel plate radiators, and high-quality HVAC-specific cold-rolled low-carbon steel.

b. Welding: Radiators are welded using CNC high-frequency welding equipment and technology, ensuring complete melting of the weld points. The welding effect is far superior to ordinary electric welding and argon arc welding.

c. Surface Coating: Utilizing imported high-quality powder coating and pipeline spraying equipment, the spray gun ensures even application and stable baking temperature, resulting in a smooth radiator surface.

d. Corrosion Protection: Steel plate radiators undergo three types of anti-corrosion treatment using advanced technology. The inner cavity is phosphated and filled with an oil-based anti-corrosion liquid with extremely strong adhesion, filling the inner cavity with the latest ultra-strong corrosion-resistant liquid.

4. Grinding: Based on excellent welding processes and following industry practice, only high-quality sandpaper is used to grind the radiator surface until it is smooth. Repeated grinding does not damage the base, greatly extending the service life of the steel plate radiator.

5. A variety of specifications are available to match various types of home decoration and meet the needs of different families. Installation is also very simple; the device comes with a bracket and fasteners for convenient operation.

6. The only drawback of steel plate radiators is their relatively poor corrosion resistance. If the indoor heating system is complex or the local water quality is poor, it will affect the radiator's lifespan.
